brief report on recent arrest of Manchester person, as a result of what happened during the TUC March for the Alternative in London
On Tuesday someone in Manchester was woken up at 6am by the Met police coming to get them. They were initially arrested for violent disorder, dropped at the cop shop to affray. Computers, phones, clothes and such like were taken - the cops insisted on taking a flat-mate's laptop, despite the fact she protested it was hers.
The police had come to arrest 3 people in Manchester (or was it Greater Manchester?). One other person they were due to arrest they did not arrest, as he was not home - if your surname begins with S and your parents live in Kingston, they are coming to get you!
