Riot in Kelvingrove park, Glasgow

Apparently in Glasgow a non political, unofficial street party of the kind encouraged by Cameron himself, has been attacked by police.

What's going on? They're going completely mad, even when you do what the government wants and support their inbred aristos they attack you. It's like the 90s, they're out to attack anyone having fun, at the slightest pretence.

Does anyone have any more info?

Facebook advertised unofficial party in the park - Royal Wedding day to celebrate the wedding or nor this being Glasgow. Lots of people, sunny day, lots of alcohol. Organisers freak out when 5000 turn up. Sound system switched off late afternoon, lots of cops. Something happens, cops go in. Police helicopter circles above. Cops get bottled. Riot cops pitch in, mounted horses, two cop vans get windows busted, 20+ arrests. Cops all over the West End tonight, lots of pissed people too. Something like that.

Youtube are insisting I register for an account to watch that video, because someone has supposedly flagged the video as 'inappropriate'.

Time to stop using corporate sites like youtube?
