No-one can fully predict what political strategies might or might not work best, but if the NHS is privatised we'll never get it back. So, unless you're planning to never get ill and never need geriatric care in your old age, everyone who can't afford BUPA needs to use every means at our disposal to combat NHS reforms now. Radical strategies against cuts and privatisation can be pursued alongside liberal strategies. Different strategies are mutually supportive (not mutually exclusive). A whole spate of government U-turns (some partial, some total) and huge crises currently rocking the coalition prove the protest movement is working.

264,191 people have (at the time of writing) already signed the 38 Degrees Protect our NHS Petition. If you've not done so already, PLEASE sign this petition and FORWARD THE LINK to all your friends, family, workmates. You've nothing to lose by dropping your signature into a bucket with quarter of a million other people (and counting), and, since the U-Turn on forest privatisation was caused by just such a petition, it's vitally important the NHS petition becomes the biggest British people have ever signed.
