It was a bit like the Beatles 60's gig on the roof top of Abbey Rd or U2 in the '80's in downtown L.A...only different and better.

Yesterday Monday A18, Joe Black from Dublin played the title track of his album "The Welcome", and a new work in progress "Giuseppe Conlon", for the "Guilford 4"/ "Maguire 7" lawyer Gareth Peirce

and other staff on the back deck of their London offices.

Joe's Nov 10 performance of "The Welcome" had publicly opened Giuseepe Conlon CW House (GCH) of Hospitality in Harringey, London.

Joe had returned for a "Free Bradley Manning! End the War" gig at GCH over the past weekend. He was inspired by his November visit to start pennig a tribute to Giueppe Conlon and the house named in Giuseppe's honour.

Carmen Trotta of the New York Catholic Worker (CW) and U.S. Witness Against Torute Campaign to Close Guantanamo rounded things off with a Phil Ochs number "When I'm Gone"

and a back deck full crowd pleasing Elvis number. Frank Cordaro of the Des Moines CW, musician Steve Jacobs of the Columbia/ Missouri played roadie and usual suspect Ciaron O'Reilly sevred as tour guide for the travelling party!
