BNP exposed as liars - Scottish BNP leaflets full of lies

IHTF | 17.04.2011 13:34 | Anti-racism | World

The ever odious BNP stoop to a new low.Their Scottish elelction leaflets not only jumpon the anti-Islam bandwagon much favoured by far-right wankers like the EDL etc. but are also full of lies and have been exposed as such.

BNP Scottish elelction leaflets have been shown to be full of dangerous and divisive anti-Islamic lies.
The leaflets claim that there are more Muslims in Britain than Scottish people, quite clearly a lie but with Islamophobia on the rise this is not only irresponsible and dangerous but shows how the BNP, like their Nazi counterparts in 1930'sGermany, are more than happy to latch onto whatever scapegoat bandwagon they can in order to win votes.
The leaflet has been reported to the Electoral Commission. Can't wait to see Griffin try to squirm his way out of this one!
Further proof, if proof were needed of exactly how desperate the ever embattled BNP are becoming. After revelations of gollywog burning, terrorism, paedophilia and other nastiness among its members as well as the ongoing finaces debacle it surely cannot be long now before the odious scum of the BNP bite the dust for once and for all.

Some commenters are twats

What are most of the news articles on IM UK if they're not a corporate repost with a rant? Drop the fascistic hierarchal nonsense and stop demanding posts be removed all the time!

who desperately want to be moderators!

Thank you, but i don't take kindly to being insulted. Calling me a twat is bang out of order mate - totally uncalled for.

For your information, corporate reposts are against the editorial guidelines, so unless you think they are "fascistic hierarchal nonsense", then keep your mouth shut about things that you don't understand.

Hahaha

Do you think I care whether you're insulted or not? I'm insulted by censorship and I think it's "bang out of order" too!

I know the editorial guidelines and I also know that there are moderators here to enforce them, (who are also well aware of the guidelines), so why do you feel the need to chime in? If you want to be a mod so bad then why not sign and become one? There's enough censorship on this site already, without clowns like you sounding off!

You're offended? What a shame! maybe if you grew a spine then you might not be offended by such common parlance, but then you seem to be a keyboard warrior so maybe a few letters on a screen from an unknown person can affect you so badly...but then that's just limp isn't it really? Anyway, cry yourself a river because nobody cares!

I don't read the Scottish Herald

18.04.2011 08:58

so I wouldn't have seen this, thanks to the OP. Anon - you're probably a lovely bloke and everything with lots of mates etc but that was a pretty twatty post you made, so it's an understandable mistake for someone to make.

Hmmmm

A call for the post to taken down merely because it links to a newspaper?
Describing the added text a "rant"?
Do I smell the fash a work here?
I may be wrong but would your average Indymedia reader have called for the post to be withdrawn merely because it links to a newspaper and call the accompanying text a "rant?"
I think not.

The BNP have been caught lying to the elctorate by way of encouraging Nazi-style scapegoating - of Muslims instead of Jews - and now someone called "anon" wants the post taken down because it links to a newspaper. Have these revelations hurt the BNP that badly?

If that is the case then lets get them out there and into the public eye - see if we can't finish these scumbags off once and for all!

@IHTF

Whilst it might initially appear that anon is actually fash, it's more likely that they're just one of the uber-hierarchal leftist fash, (akin to Stalinists). Believe it or not there are people who only comment to leave messages for the moderators demanding that stories are hidden!

Often the mods bend to their will, and this has encouraged the trolls no end, but fortunately there'll be a new collective launched next month with a different, (less repressive), philosophy and hopefully the clowns who scream and shout like "anon" will be ignored.

Obviously there's questions of why such people would make these demands, but I doubt "anon" is linked to the BNP...even though that makes their behaviour even more bizarre, but I've always assumed it's a case of small people and small minds!

guidelines

18.04.2011 22:29

The point of guidelines and the importance of adhering to them is so that articles and comments cannot be censored or left published according to an individuals favouritism.

Still laughing's comments should be removed because:

Guidelines quote:
"Personal attack: Articles and/or comments that contain abusive language against other activists or site users. Please make your point without resorting to personal abuse."

Its not a case of whether someone has a thick skin or not. I could call someone a "nigger" in a comment and complain about how they should have a thick skin and take it like a man. However, that has nothing to do with it.... its breaking the racist guidelines and therefore should be removed in the same way that a personal attack should.

Calling someone a twat is "abusive". Please make your point without resorting to personal abuse.

Is that you Harrington?

19.04.2011 16:55

Only Patrick Harrington could be so officious and anally retentive as to quote the guidelines and demand that stories be hidden...and "anon"'s behaviour has definitely been Harrington-esque, but as they say, there's two types of people in this world...those who have never met Patrick Harrington and those who hate his guts! I wonder why?

well at least that is clear

20.04.2011 21:14

So what you are concluding is:

1. The guidelines mean shit. They should be deleted since they don't have to be followed.

2. It is acceptable to be abusive to other commenters

3. People are not to be treated equally. Who they are depends on what they are allowed to say on indymedia. (i'm not paul whatever his name is - chopper).

4. btw.... who put you in charge? Do you have the authority to dictate 1, 2 and 3 ?

They're guidelines

20.04.2011 21:53

The dictionary describes a guideline as: "Recommended practice that allows some discretion or leeway in its interpretation, implementation, or use" -- so presumably that answers your questions

stupid!
