Last week, a group of Portuguese economists filed a demand for a legal investigation concerning the most recent actions of the three main ratings agencies - in what presumably could be an attempt at manipulating the normal functioning of the financial markets , and an insurgence in the normal functioning of the Portuguese democratic process.
