On Sunday 17th April 2011, I will be running the London Marathon on behalf of the wonderful Boomchukka Circus. This group of fabulous volunteers travel to Palestine each year bringing clowning fun to communities on both sides of the conflict. What I particularly like about their activism is that they also work with local groups sharing skills and supporting community building projects.

The clowns fund their own airfares and stay with local people to minimize costs. In 2010, the circus tour spent £2,000 on visas, internal travel, intranet and phone, props and donations to the communities they visited.

I'd like to help them by raising as much as I can for their 2011 tour.
