There is nothing incriminating whatsoever in the footage. Many people were present on the day in black clothing, to stop themselves being identified by the invasive FIT teams and cctv. This is NOT illegal.
The pigs have released no footage or photographs or any other sort of evidence to show that those in the footage above committed any crimes. If they had it, they would definitely release it. Unfotunately for them, there is no evidence to link them to any criminality, as the black bloc all look the same! LOL!
If I was one of those sisters or brothers in the footage I would not be worried. Also, I would NEVER turn myself into the police, as I have done nothing wrong. Remember, talking to the filth is NEVER a good idea.
Get rid of any clothing/footwear/mobile phones/sim cards/bags used on the day and relax. I'm not saying this to give advice of how to evade capture by the police, but merely as a means to combat the increasing big brother nature of the state.
There will be footage what the police are keeping undisclosed for now. They have concentrated on certain people on the CCTV, because they likely have them doing something on other footage. They will follow the CCTV of anyone who took part on attacks on banks etc, and watch them change. I think this is what this is.
mark, you don't know for certain. most likely, this is the only captured of people actually in the process of masking/demasking. the police like to use cctv as propaganda also. if they have footage of known people smashing shit up, with clear pictures of their faces, they will show it.
advice above stands though, if its you in the footage, don't voluntarily talk to the cops whatever happens.
anyways, better be off, got to go for a haircut, and maybe i'll grow a beard too.
As the Sky News commentator says "they're already ahead of the game here". Being filmed changing your jumper isn't evidence of a criminal offence. If an offence was committed while someone was effectively disguised all this CCTV "proves" is what we know already, that people turned up dressed in black. Of 149 people charged all but 11 were arrested during the occupation of that posh food shop, which means the chances of getting nicked on the protest proper were between 40,000 and 50,000 to 1 against, in favour of the protestors

This shouldn't be to much of a problem. One of the positive effects of blackbloc (as opposed to a simply masked bloc) is that one demonstrator is indeterminable from another. They can track it back as long as they like but all they will likely get is a black mass. Even if an individual police officer was able to follow one person on the video from an action against a bank, through the crowd and to where they got blacked down it is very unlikely that this evidence would secure a conviction. Like has been said a million times before, "thats not me your honour" has seen many a troublemaker walk free.
If I was any of these people I shouldn't worry to much, they have nothing more than evidence that you wore black that day and unless you happened to have put a window through, walked directly across the road to black down then they will never be able to link you to a specific action. You will be on the CO11 database now thou, so stay very masked on future demo's. I also recommend demasking whilst squatting (but still moving) in very dense sections of the crowd.
Although it was a bit silly of them to all unblack in one uncrowded spot like that, they all seem to be keeping their heads down and not facing the camera. They did OK. If this is the best footage the cops have then their bark is a lot worse than their bite!
On an unrelated note, spring is here, a good time for a change of wardrobe folks :-) check out your local charity shop or just swap clothes with your mates for a bit of variety...

They also gave further advice at http://www.fitwatch.org.uk/2010/12/13/students-should-not-be-panicked-by-mets-published-pictures/
This is an attempt to frighten people into walking into a police station. Don't do that.
