April from 2-5pm in the Club Room at Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, London,
WC1.
To all defendants from the student fees demos of November and December,
whether charged, not charged, already 'dealt with'; whatever stage of the
legal process you are currently at:
At a meeting on February 6th, attended by 15 defendants from the student
protests on November 10th, November 24th and December 9th 2010, the
Student Protest Solidarity Campaign was set up to support those arrested
at the student protests.
Beyond legal advice and our own cases, we need to discuss how we take
things forward collectively regarding the arrests at the student fees
demos.
For various reasons this message is going out a bit late... Apologies. If
you know of or in contact with other defendants please pass this
information on to them.
This meeting is open to all defendants and families. However: we have to
talk about whether we open up this campaign to people who support us, but
aren't defendants themselves. The last meeting was attended by four
people, and if anything is going to spark off with this group, alot more
work has to be done; as defendants we have alot on our plates, and if
there are others willing to take on some work we need to ask if we invite
them in.
Hope to see you at the meeting
