Letting off steam in a Kettle

Anonymous | 25.03.2011 12:56 | Culture | Repression | Social Struggles

One technique for letting off steam in a kettle in tomorrow's protests.

Simply this:

There is a good chance a lot of people are going to be kettled in London tomorrow, especially during the evening and late hours. One thing we know about UK Kettles is that they don't allow you to go pee pee whilst you're in there.

The solution, which I urge you to share and distribute, is to ake a load of balloons and/or condoms with you on your big protest day out. In the case that you get kettled in, you can easily enough pee in the condom and seal it up. Clearly this is easier for boys than girls but with some imagination and add-ons the girls can do it too.

Whether or not this condom then gets thrown at the police is a moral issue which remains out of scope for this small document.

Many thanks,

1. This ain't news. If you want to share ideas use a message board, not an open-publishing newswire.

2. The average bladder is bigger than the average condom.

3. Condoms probably won't burst on impact.

1.) True, but sometimes these things should be let to slide.

2.) Unless your bladder holds 8 litres of liquid :)

3.) Depends how full they are, how far they are thrown, and whether the condoms are in or out of use by date:-

I think by 'add-ons' the author probably means this:-
