What is the alternative?

Can someone fron the TUC or unions please explain what alternative is proposed...

I`ve been debating with friends and collegues regarding this contentious issue. My friends and collegues in the TUC,Unions and authoritian left are vehemently opposed to anarchisim and any feeder or "unauthorised" march, are opposed to direct action and civil disobedience and have stated that they will report any "violent or anti social behaviour to the police." So much for solidarity. When I ask what they feel they can acheive by marching from A to B chanting slogans and most importantly to me. Thier TUC masters are billing this as the march for the alternative but not explaination what the alternative is. I do hope someone can clear this matter up. Remember, we are all in this together, let`s not let ideals and political sectarianisim divide us. It`s all well supporting violent uprisings abroad but condeming them here.

Although it's more of a decent explanation of why the TUC's alternative isn't one. Still it's a fair starting point for discussions on what an alternative should be. Not bad on the 'jobs' and 'growth' sections of the TUC slogan. Not so sure about the section on justice mind.

do have a clear alternative that can be discussed. I can`t help feeling that the TUC are just puppets of the state. Give people a good walk and let them shout thier anger out in a controlled way. I don`t know if anyones noticed but the way things are going we`ll all be working full time hours for a measley benefit wage of £65.00 pw. Under felxable new deal.
