The 0742 club was evicted early this week while two of its residents were held all weeknd in police custody. This was in my eyes at least clearly a set up as none of the reasons behind the length of detention make any sense. Also as soon as the only person present in the building on the morning of this eviction had to take his dog for a quick walk and as soon as he left (leaving shutters slightly ajar) the building was pounced upon by south yorkshire police. We are having non publicised meetings between the group (both residents and all other people who got involved during the project) and will be in a new location by the end of the week.

We are not going to accept defeat or let this tiny setback demoralise us in any way so keep your eyes peeled for the future occupied sheffield social centre to open and for us to be ready enough to publicise the address.
