I don't question the above statement. I am a bit suspicious of the bodycount though. Those figures came from Libyan state television; doesn't that imply that it could be just propaganda? I guess we'll find out soon enough. Also, the non-western press (RT, AL Jazeera) is reporting that the airstrikes were against SAM sites, not civilian areas.

actually russia today is reporting both nato and libyan claims, saying that at the moment neither can be verified. aljazeera, of course, is financed and run by the qatari royal family, who have provided fighter jets for the war against libya, so draw your own conclusions from that.

you can believe the warmongerers who have used the complete might of their propaganda machine to push for this war, or not. your choice. choose to be on the side of the world's biggerst murderers, or not.

embee, were you suspicious of bodycounts when their media was claiming (falsely) the massacre of civilians in libya. thought not.
