occupy a public park you cant its public any one can go there any time they want. this is the most ineffective plans for an action i have ever heard of at one of the most important times england and the world has seen. there are real revolutions going on around the world and we have a chance to stick it to the government and you want us to sit in a park for 24 hours......get real or go home to mummy. if you want to do some thing on the 26th take to the streets, build barricades and fight for change.
love and riots ..... see you on the streets

this is clearly a state organised demonstration to ensure minimum disruption. If you want to close down London do it midweek or when there is some uber important visitors in town. I accuse the TUC of being govt stooges. Dont support this nonaction.

not going

TUC 'has hired security guards'

According to an email from my local anti-cuts group:

"Also (I forgot to incorporate this into the minutes) someone mentioned that the TUC are employing private security firm / guards in Hyde Park!"

All part of encouraging Freedom of assembly and expression, no doubt.

Blockade the economy, not the parks!

What's the point of occupying Hyde Park?!!!!! What does it achieve? What does it disrupt? It has no positive outcome, just a few idiots in a park over night. I thought the climate camp has been disbanded. Why resort to these shit tactics. Occupy major roads, tube stations, train stations. Hit them where it hurts, only then can we effect change.
