In the past two days members of the Rossport Solidarity Camp have stopped Shell carrying out their Survey Work. The actions were successful. There have been no arrests.

On Tuesday the 3rd of March Shell began an ecological survey of the land they intend use for their Tunnel Boring Machine Compound in the coming months. The survey was very easily stopped when 6 people walked on to the land and asked the surveyors what they where up to. They decided to call it day.

On Wednesday the 4th of March 4 members of the Rossport Solidarity Camp noticed that Shell where carrying out a BIRD survey in Glengad. The campers walked over to where the survey was taking place. The surveyors walked off and sat in their cars for an hour.

We have begun to set up our camp this week and could do with some help if your free to come up.

In order to continue disrupting this work we need more people to come up to the camp. Although it does not seem the like the most important work to stop, they still need to complete their survey work before they can build anything and its very easy to stop. We need people to come up to the camp and continue supporting and taking part in these actions
