Being treated as a criminal as first sight !!

I was held at the UK Border in Heathrow airport. I was interviewed as to my intention to visit Liverpool. I was to be present at the birth of my second child with my partner and mother of our 1st daughter. They did not believe me. I was denied entry. The Officer that interviewed me thought that Liverpool was a shithole of a city and didn't like it. Perhaps that was the reason I was denied entry. I do have an appeal pending of an unmarried partner application as well.
I'm an American that has a partner and a child in Liverpool. Our second child is due by the 5th March. All I wanted was to be with my family. I am appealing a decision on my application being denied entry for settlement. I received info that I can be in the UK while the appeal and the birth of our 2nd child. They took away my rights as a father. I had a round trip and yet sent me back to US. Where's the compassion and humanity?

one of the biggest problems is that due to the way this issue is handled by the majority of the press, I've found very little support from the wider community, people think of immigration problems and they think of asylum seekers etc, they don't realise the visa rules also affect "normal" UK citizens who are on a low income and have partners from outside the EU.
they treat all of us like capital, fuck them, we will get revenge!

I checked the immigration website and there there is no mention of this.
I think you were given duff information - i doubt you'd be allowed in for a birth.

If you arrived at the Border and told them you intend to settle here..Then they will definitely refuse you entry.
Entry permission is usually given for Tourist Purpose , Study , etc.
Never for Settlement ( unless you have a Settlement Visa).
This not only goes for UK..No country in the world will let you in to ' Settle'
Maybe I got your part of the story wrong..so could you clarify..Did you at any time say to
Border Guards that you intend to Live here ?
