The al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, reported that one of its fighters died of wounds suffered during clashes with Israeli forces invading Gaza City on Wednesday morning.The fighter, Adel Jundiyya, 25 years old, was seriously injured when the army bombarded an area east of Gaza City, and died of his wounds during evening hours.

Only two hours after the Israeli Air Force bombarded Gaza killing one fighter and wounding sixteen residents, an F-16 Israeli fighter jet fired at least one missile at an agricultural facility north of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Israeli sources reported on Wednesday that Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, approved the return of nearly 350 Palestinian refugees living in Libya into the West Bank. Netanyahu approved a request by Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, to allow 350 refugees living in Libya into the West Bank due to serious risks they face amidst the unrest in Tripoli.

Palestinian medical sources reported on Wednesday evening that a Palestinian child was killed, and three residents were wounded, in an explosion that took place in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. The sources stated that a 10-year-old girl was killed in a blast that rocked a home in Al Amal neighborhood in Khan Younis. Three other residents were injured and were moved to Nasser Hospital in the city.

On Thursday morning, Israeli soldiers abducted two Palestinian children from the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, and searched several houses.

On Thursday Israel bulldozed cultivated lands north of Salfit. Bulldozers destroyed a stone wall and uprooted a number of olive trees. The damage is estimated to be in the region of 20 000 NIS ($5500). The land in question is in Area C in the West Bank, which is wholly administered by Israel.
