Today, during the demonstration which was in front of the General Trade Union Federation (ETUF) that included more than 2,000 union activists, some of thugs who are hired by ETUF threw empty bottles (of glass) towards the demonstrators, resulting injuries to three of the labour activists.

Army forces could enter the ETUF premises and arrested four of the thugs, and then it was cleared that those thugs follow (affiliated to) Hussein Megawer, president of the General Trade Union Federation "ETUF".

Today at 4 PM, some of labour activists (from the Real Estate Tax Authority "RETA", Mahalla city, Helwan governorate, 10th of Ramadan city, and Sadat city) had demonstrated in front of "ETUF" premises demanding making a reservation on "ETUF" documents to not tampering with them, to be presented for inference in investigations which already are happening by the Supreme Public Funds Investigation Department.

The Center for Trade Union and Workers Services "CTUWS" and several labour leaders presented a communication on 6/2/2011 to the Public Prosecutor, requesting an investigation into the sources of President of ETUF Hussein Megawer's wealth, and preventing him from travelling abroad.
