I'm planning to write a batch program that will periodically scan through indymedia and republish all the articles that have been hidden. If those articles are hidden, then they too will be republished. I think i will make it republish an article once, and when it is re-hidden, it will republish it twice and so forth.
I was going to do all this through Tor so that you can't block the IP of the scanner.
Will take me about a week to sort it all out.
What do you think? It will work in an anon capacility to ensure the the freedom of publishing and expression, and attack the repression of indymedia's continued victimisation of the poor and free thinking?

Very easy but not very constructive

Shouldn't take you a week, it's easy to script attacks on MIR.
Please consider who this hurts.
Indymedia UK is a dying project with a fucked network of dysfunctional collectives and out of touch individuals. It is about to split big time anyway. One bunch of dodgy individuals who can't respect collective decisions will take on continuing to run this (MIR) site and all the crap it attracks, while the rest of the network abandons the indymedia name to produce an alt media aggregation.
