There has been much discussion in the last few weeks following the leaking by Schnews of the ability of the Mir Content Management System used by UK Indymedia (http://www.indymedia.org.uk) to filter posts by IP address.

This is a disclosure from IMC Northern England as to what our position on IP logging is, and the abilities of our platform in terms of protecting users anonymity.
