tadamonan maa massr – In solidarity with Egypt, London last night
MR | 29.01.2011 11:12 | Repression | Social Struggles | Workers' Movements
Folks gathered outside the steps of the British Museum as it was closing last night to show solidarity to those on the streets of Egypt.
"Students and workers in and outside of London support the protests in Egypt where the people are demanding regime change after 30 years of Mubarak dead-end politics.
We agree with William Hague when he says ‘I would urge the Egyptian government … to respect rights of freedom of assembly and freedom of expression. It would be futile over time to try to suppress such things.’
We propose he extends this pertinent advice to his own government.
Love, Prince Valiant and Morgana"
