Criminal lawyer gives up

According to the Guardian the bloke behind ACS law, the people who sent out thousands of letters demanding payment for alleged copyright infringement, has given up  http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2011/jan/25/acslaw-ceases-filesharing-claims

This criminal was quite happy to send out threats to thousands, but when as a result verbal threats are made against him he goes off wanting his mummy. No sympathy for him.

Instead of inflitrating climate campaigners the police should have been infiltrating his firm.

Your post is exactly the sort of thing we should be discussing and working against. Trouble is this place has it's head up it's own arse just now, and can't do shit because of that. There are hugely serious issues that are going to go unnoticed here, such as the regime changes in the Mahgreb, and anarchist actions in the UK, because Indymedia collectives contain cops and don't want to purge them for some unknown reason. Including the current online moderator.
