Were undercover cops at the protest against undercover cops.



During the protest against undercover police officers having sex with protesters outside New Scotland Yard, two women turned up with banners which appear to completely miss the point and almost mocked the protest. Despite the efforts of the women at the protest they refused to hide their placards which were, predictably, picked up by the media.

These may have been entirely genuine protesters who failed to understand what the protest was about. But they could easily have been plainclothes police officers (and they certainly have the look) sent either to monitor or undermine the protest.

Or am I being too conspiratorial?
