Toronto's Jewish Defence League has announced a 'support rally' for the EDL. at the Toronto Zionist Centre, Tuesday, January 11, at 7:00 PM. 'JDL Supports the EDL' said JDL spokesperson Meir Weinstein. The event has alarmed many in the city who plan strong protests against both organizations.

The announced 'support rally' for the English Defence League (EDL) by the Zionist Jewish Defence League in Toronto, Canada on Tuesday, January 11 at the Toronto Zionist Centre, will likely be met with strong protetsts from the city's progressive and anti-racist activists.

Who cares? The EDL is just opposing the Islamification of Britain, political Islam and Sharia law, and the JDL are Zionists, (which is not a bad thing, Israel does have the right to exist), so why does Indymedia care? Just go on living in your fantasy world believing that fundamentalist Islam is not a threat, when it quite clearly is.

The EDL are not just doing that - sounds like you're a supporter trying to troll here.
Zionism is different to Israel's right to exist.
And Indymedia readers and contributors I think you mean.

The Jewish Defense League or JDL is a Jewish organization whose stated goal is to "protect Jews from antisemitism by whatever means necessary"
