On the yearly Anarchist festival in Appelscha (NL) Tasos Sagris from Greece came to talk about the Greek Revolt. After some time we finally managed to get the talk online and want to share it with you.

We are an image from the future

Tasos Sagris is the co-writer of the book 'We are an immage from the future' on the historical and cultural background of the Greek Revolt that bursted in 2008 after the murder of Alexis Grigoropulos. The talk is based on questions by the public and gives an insight in the motives and acts by the (insurrectionalist) anarchist movement in Greece.

In this it is important to take this last comment into mind since there is a wide variëty of resistance in Greece ranging from Anarchists, Libertarian-Socialists/Communistst to progressive and libertarian student- and laboractivists who all (on sertain levels together) strugle for social justice.
