Report of London CAAT's protest at the Horse Show

On Sunday seven members of London Campaign Against Arms Trade braved the arctic conditions at Kensington Olympia to tell the owners of the International Horse Show they should not be involved in the arms trade. Clarion Events also own the Defence & Security Equipment International, Europe's largest arms fair, and London CAAT were there to register their disapproval at their involvement in this event. Many leaflets were handed to members of the public so they could learn of the links between Clarion and the arms trade - the protester in a horse mask caught the attention of passers-by, helped by the vocal efforts of other protesters.

London CAAT has been outside every Clarion-organised show since they purchased DSEi in May 2008 and their protests will continue in 2011, the next one being the Baby Show in February.
