Exposing Infiltrators Guidelines
17.12.2010 15:23
This is a set of guidelines for exposing infiltrators within groups, and in particular by using resources such as Indymedia to do so. It was written as a response to the recent outing of Mark Stone/Kennedy as having been an undercover police officer whilst working within various activist groups, particularly in the Nottingham area.
This document has been worked on collaboratively by the IMC Northern England collective, who have agreed to adopt these guidelines. The original intention was to propose this for adoption by the UK Indymedia network. With the network having agreed at the last network meeting to fork on or before 1st May 2011, this is no longer possible. We may however propose this text to be officially adopted by the global IMC community soon, and will be encouraging other IMC's based in the UK to adopt these principles.
