Possibly true, possibly a coincidence

There could be something in this one, and I don't want to be as dismissive as the posters above, but I'll be interested to see what format the warning message was in (text, email).

The chances of coincidence are high, too.

Many Londoners would have warned visitors against spending last Saturday on Oxford Street, not because of foreknowledge of any bombings but because it was the penultimate weekend before Christmas and the place was going to be packed with tourists, shoppers and more pickpockets than normal.

If a bomb had gone off, this site would have been full of people saying that X had told them that on Saturday that Oxford Street "should be avoided at all costs", "was going to be a f**king nightmare", "would be carnage" that day and so on.
