Fascists-in-denial the EDL have invited Pastor Terry Jones to speak at their Luton demo. Jones, who recently caused a storm by threatening to burn the Koran, has also gained a reputation fro racism, homophobia Anti-Semitism

The racist, Islamophobic EDL have invited religious extremist pastor Terry Jones to speak at their demo-cum-alcohol-fuelled-rally in Luton.

Jones, who recently hit the headlines after threatening to burn copies of the Koran on the anniversary of 9/11 alsohas a reputation for homophobia, racism and anti-Semitism. How this sits with the EDL's spurious claims to be non-racist, non-homophobic and in support of Isreal and Judaisim is anyone's guess but it is hard to accept that they did not know of his reputation for racism and homophobia before making the invite.
How the socalled "moderate" members of the EDL will view this - as well as their sikh members, homosexual members and those who profess to be opposed to racism is anyone's guess. What is for sure is that inviting a known racist, homophobe, anti-Semite, Islamophobe and all round bigot to Britain is a massive own goal for the EDL.

Hope not hate have already launched a campaign to stop Jones coming to Britain

i thought supporting Edl until the blatant anti Muslim stance became more and more apparent.Pastor Jones is a lowlife,a nobody,how can he lecture on Islam and sharia? scholars of thirty years or more do that not some jumped up little self publicist hoping for some much wanted attention and maybe a few book sales.

what happened to being against Jihadists?..now it is Muslims in general,who comes after that?

The pastor has a grand following of fifty people in his own country, so I guess if he unites with EDL, it'll double their membership which I presume is what they are desperate for.

Good to see though, that as with all right wing groups, they start off with frightening rhetoric, then after a couple of months and the novelty has worn off, they can only muster a handful of people to their demoes and so they end up as yet another socialite group performing publicity stunts to keep themselves alive.

Let there be no doubt about this, the reason Pastor Jones threatened to burn the Koran was to ENCOURAGE extremist Muslim violence against European civilians and against British and American troops. This moron's also been involved in openly homophobic campaigning, which should be of interest to the EDL's pathologically gullible and tiny LGBT Division...
