After a full day today hearing arguments from lawyers representing UCL management, and lawyers representing the occupation, court is deferring its decision, which is now expected tomorrow: Wednesday 8th December)

UCL management boasted to the press last week that they were 95% certain that their application for an injunction to end the occupation would be granted in less than 20 minutes of court time.

Oh how wrong they were.

On Friday the occupation's lawyers successfully argued for more time to prepare a proper defence and convinced the court that this was not as cut and dried as the UCL plaintiff sought to purport - there was a proper case to be heard. The court adjourned the hearing until today - Tuesday 7th December.

Today, the court heard detailed arguments from lawyers representing UCL management, and lawyers representing the occupation. Unable to make an immediate decision, the hearing was adjourned at 4 O'Clock today, with a decision expected tomorrow morning.

Well done the occupation.

Solidarity.
