Explain yourself.

This was posted last week as a comment to the student demo on 24th. Indymedia saw fit to arbitrarily hide it under the blanket reason of 'respect' with no further words of explanation. Now if this site is as independent as it claims to be, it must stop deleting posts that oppose the left wing agenda perpetuated on here time and time again. It owes its existence to its contributors and as such it should be held accountable for its actions. Therefore, I am asking, nicely, that Indymedia explain what it is in the below submission it objects to and why. As I have been looking through other posts that have not been deleted I am struck with the fact that other posts of a much more abusive and virulent nature have got through, funnily enough, these all take a pop at the police with unfounded criticisms. So tell me why it was hidden?
"One of the links on the above comment shows a photo with a caption underneath it saying "Are cops stupid? Their kids and their jobs face the same cuts!"
When will you lot get it that the Police are not disagreeing with some of the things that you are protesting about. They know that they will be affected by the cutbacks and how the plans for education are affecting and will affect their families. The thing is, is that they have a job to do in protecting the innocent persons property and keeping the Queens peace. In discharging this, they will and do uphold your right to protest lawfully. The problem comes when elements of the protest plan for and carry out criminal activities. This is when the police step in. Shouting unwarranted, virulent and outright filthy abuse at them whilst throwing fireworks/eggs and other missiles at them is just barefaced cynical provocation.
Thing is that most of the tripe the Indymedia allows through its censorship regime shows a very very biased, biggotted and one sided view of the world. Now you may say that this is a counter balance to the rest of the mainstream media, but don't have the bare faced cheek to claim to report the truth as you are simply spouting the same old leftist rubbish this site is infamous for.
I wonder how long it will be until this gets censored too!"

If you want to delete this then it will just get reposted time and time again by a growing body of people seeking to redress the balance on this site.
