Possible manipulation of YouTube ratings

Has YouTube got problems with its site or are videos potentially embarrassing to UK gov having the view count manipulated???

Try doing a search on YouTube for "Police London" - then refine search to Today and Sort by date.

The strange thing that occurs is that various You Tube videos relating to student demonstrations today have a view count of 1 or 0. Whenever it goes above 1 or 0 it seems to go back down again - even when if you follow the link you will see that hundreds of people have actually viewed the item.

Maybe it is just a problem with the You Tube web site - but it is strange how other links which do not show police violence do not have aforementioned problem. Several clips which do not contain police violence, but have been there for a fraction of the time do not exhibit the aforementioned behaviour.

It seems that on request of HM gov - that You Tube is manipulating search results.

Maybe it is just a coincidence but many of the videos of today which include police violence have a view count of 0 or 1 when a search is performed.
