Good luck to him

Good luck to him.

There are indeed some shady dealings in the corporate-police world. I can attest to this - having been assaulted by the chief exec. of a big corporation with offices in Canary Wharf about ten years ago, I then contacted the police with the name (the idiot was wearing his name badge). I had witnesses and knew where the big boss (I still remember his name) worked.

A few weeks later, I got an anonymous call telling me I was messing with some "very important people and I'd do very well to drop the charges". When I contacted the police to tell them about this threat, they informed me that they had met the person who had assaulted me and he didn't look anything like I'd said; they then made it clear that if I persued the case I'd be arrested myself. I decided to drop the case...
