Not surprisingly the Police acted in the interests of four wheeled vehicle's rather than the safety of living things.... or, productivity over life... No supprise there... But Manchester student's showed resolve and courage facing off the stupidity of her majesties finest, ahgghm, whilst being calm and reasoned in their responses.
regrouping rather than holding their ground to carry out several road blockades and avoid any mass arrests or being trampled by horses. towards the end of the protest there was a horse charge on a standing road block no injuries occurred. an hour later another group where seen being pened in by police closer to the main buildings of Manchester university, where members of the public where harassed for walking near it or waiting for a bus on the other side of the road...
