The Royal Holloway Anti Cuts Alliance are still occupying the picture gallery corridor of Founder’s building. The group have been heavily involved with spreading the campaign message and raising awareness to other students with more joining the occupation. The evening has been spent having teach-ins and visits from lecturers, as well as lively and educational debates on a range of issues from economy to curriculum; all of this being streamed live via our webcam link (over 5500 views so far!)

The Anti Cuts Alliance have also been considering their response to the management’s press release and discussing the impact of the sit-in in the context of the national wave of university occupations (39 and counting), keeping in constant contact with other Anti Cuts Alliances.
