Wikipedia Founder coming to Bristol
rumour | 11.11.2010 17:22
So I hear.. 13 January 2011 12.00-13.00 - Victoria Rooms, University of Bristol
Yup, Jimmy Wales, the founder of free, open-source, non-commercial volunteer encyclopaedia Wikipedia is coming to Bristol to talk about the past and future of the project.
Now, before some troll says, yes it has its issues as a project, but overall it's an amazing accumulation of knowledge that is freely given and freely made and shows the power of positive human corroboration.
