Massive anti-Afghan war demonstration

stop the war coalition | 08.11.2010 13:02

There will be a massive anti-Afghan war demonstration in central London on Saturday the 20th of November. The demonstration will assemble at Hyde Park near Marble Arch at 12noon and at 1pm will set off for Trafalgar Square. This demonstration is to demand the immediate return of all UK troops from Afghanistan. The government is currently spending 5 billion a year on that war while cutting services at home.

We will be saying money for welfare not for warfare. And demand that the government listens to the majority of the people who want an end to this war as soon as possible. More details of the demonstration are here:

every march is always more massive, more fantastic, more significant, until there is nobody left at all except tony benn and the massed rank of the trotocracy hogging the speakers pulpit and looking out over three islamists and a bloke walking his whippet,

round and round and round we go...

It will be massive because it is because 70 per cent of the UK population now oppose the war in Afghanistan!

Whoope do... lets all march from A to B then go home and have a cup of tea and a slice of cake job done.

Politicians don't give a shit about a few thousand people marching from A to B under a police escort. They'll only start giving a damn when people are dragging them out of Westminster and beating them in the streets.

That's life for you though
