Sunday 21st of November from 14:00-18:00. Afghan Voice Forum information and discussion day with Afghan speakers and video. South Wing Hall, Community Base Brighton.
The Afghan Voice is an independent discussion forum to give Afghans the voice they need. We aim to create more understanding for Afghanistan and the exchange knowledge and points of view. To build bridges between Afghan and European communities, so we can create a network of friendship and direct solidarity with the Afghan people in word and action.
On 21st of November we will launch the Afghan Voice Forum and think tank and we discuss the following topics;
Womens rights and women in Afghanistan. A topic continuously exploited in the Western media, but what do Afghan women think about this? What do Afghan women want? How can we give them the support they need? Speakers ms. Bahar Sakha (ASAUK chair person) and dr. Farida Wardag.
The political situation of Afghanistan. A clear political analysis of the current situation of Afghanistan and the Western occupation. How to solve the 'stalemate' situation Afghanistan and the West are in? Speaker mr. Fahim Wardag.
Afghan Voice is also on internet Radio Free Brighton every Thursday from 17:00-18:00:
