Veteran campaigners braved chilly and damp weather at Speakers' Corner in Hyde Park, London, UK.

Shirley from Mad Pride who organized today’s protests, told me before the speeches commenced decrying a “less sympathetic public’s ability to provide the smooth transition” to the employment of over half a million individuals being “hounded back to work”, adding that “society’s lack of understanding the concepts in mental health” citing the “taboo of ‘psychosis’ a ‘mystery’ explioted by Holywood and the Press”, “innapropriate jobs market” and lack of ‘legal representation’ makes ‘mandatory employment for a medicalized and stigmatised population unjustifyable’.

You can hear rounds of applause from peers, supporters and worker as speakers providing solutions for their future survival while providing an expose on the difficulties mental health service recipients will be facing living in a ConLib’s ‘Big Society’ .
