The Tory scumbags on Brighton and Hove City Council are persecuting the Green councillor, Jason Kitcat. On 3rd Novermber next, he is to have his appeal against his suspension heard. The "Standards" Committee (no standards and not independent it is biased to the Tories) found he had used, "council resources...improperly for political purposes".

The reality is that he posted video clips from a council meeting, which were already on the council's website. The details had been put into the public domain by the council itself!

Councillor Kitcat was given a six month suspension for using information which the council had been happy to put on their website. Should the hearing on the 3rd November go against him, then he will be suspended for this time.

Not content with proceeding against Councillor Kitcat by an abuse of process, misconduct in public office and malfeasance, Brighton and Hove City Council are generous with their use of public funds to perpetrate this harassment even further. The Tories have hired a Gray's Inn Barrister, one Wayne Beglan using funds from the public purse to do so. The website for this character's chambers states that he is, "tough" and excels at "sticking the boot in". Charming and about as perverse as Brighton and Hove City Council itself.

Councillor Kitcat is representing himself and no doubt has Article 6 ECHR in his thoughts when he does so.

The person responsible for the council's decision to take this action is no less a person than the Leader of the council, Tory harpy Mary Mears. She is known for her lovely ways such as when she expressed her sympathy in sacking 150 council employees whilst she was on a cruise liner.

Action at, or around, the council offices would be appropriate on 3rd November.
