Activists gathered in London's Hyde Park to protest over the firm's alleged failure to pay billions of pounds in tax. Later on, they marched up Oxford Street, blockading all Vodafone branches on the street, including the Vodafone’s flagship.

According to the Socialist Worker, the phone firm was let off the tax bill by the British government – even though the cash is almost as much as the government’s cuts to the benefits budget in recent spending review.
The protest was backed by the Right to Work campaign.
