London’s Gay Art Festival GFEST Held ‘SAME – SEX KISS’ In Trafalgar Square

London’s gay art festival GFEST – Gaywise FESTival had a public art video & photo-shoot installation ‘The 15 Minutes of SAME-SEX Kiss’ in Trafalgar Square on Monday the 25 October 2010 at 11 am.
‘The 15 Minutes of SAME-SEX Kiss’ was a live installation for video & photo-shoot to celebrate GFEST – Gaywise FESTival 2010 and also to mark the progress made by LGBT issues in public life.

Niranjan Kamatkar, the director of GFEST, and a multi-media artist himself, will be presenting a video & image showcase of the installation.
Niranjan said, “We are pleased to make a celebratory and a proactively visible statement of same sex bond. I hope more Londoners and tourist to the UK capital can enjoy this year’s GFEST short films at Rich mix, performances at Cochrane Theatre and two exhibitions apart from talks, debate, workshop and parties. ”
A video from the live installation will be put up on YouTube and Images will be exhibited as a special GFEST 2010 free entry special exhibition at Westminster Reference Library near Leicester Square in London, during GFEST 2010 dates.
GFEST is supported by the Mayor of London, dignitaries, Ministers and MPs from all the leading parties, various London boroughs and Arts Council England.

Now in its fourth year, GFEST 2010 will showcase short films, performances and visual artworks in exhibitions this year.
