Lancaster had a rally at the town hall, which is also a junction of the A6. More than 200, maybe 250 turned up for a good-natured and not particularly boisterous demo. After more than an hour with lots of support shown from passin g drivers, the gathering circled around the square and off for an organising meeting which lasted until 9.30pm. Much commitment and anger, but not a lot of evidence that the activism extended beyond the usual suspects. Still, a good turnout for a city of 60,000!
