Problem with Crude Awakening demo.

IT WASN'T IN LONDON!

The technique used to avoid the usual police repression, by pretending the demo would take place in London when it was actually planned to take place somewhere else, worked very well. It was amazing there were no arrests.

But for someone like me with a bicycle and other reasons why I could not use the tube and train, who turned up at Victoria Station, it was a wasted journey. I also met another potential supporter who was thwarted. I wonder how many supporters were lost in this way?

We all have to make sacrfices

We all have to make sacrifices, my friend - outwitting the cops is a massive triumph, and if the sole problem with the action is that not everyone who wanted to go was able to make it, well so be it

The cops still win eh?

So by sacrificing several wannabe supporters left in the lurch in London they manage to outwit the cops for a while but the cops still turn up anyway? That looks like giving in or running away or paranoia to me and why the deliberately misleading information on the website?.

Then there is all this secrecy which puts people off. Only a favoured few are allowed to know the destination but the cops get there anyway because they have loads of communications at their disposal.

Why not just square up to the cops instead, as it used to be?
