The Four are denouncing Cargill's policy towards small farmers worldwide, and especially in Paraguay. Cargill is not preventing world hunger; they are creating it through their strategy of intensive monoculture, massive use of pesticides, and promoting gm seeds worldwide. Their agribusiness model is responsible for the fleeing of millions of small farmers towards immense poverty and hunger in the city slums.
