setting up communes in schools/colleges/unis

I've been inspired by the recent wave of student protests and occupations in France, that I thought we need some of that over here - we need to start taking action!
I intend to set up a commune in my school on the basis of anarcho-communism. I don't know whether this will gather any support or not but its better than doing nothing. Nothing much has happened in terms of resistance to the cuts, while our comrades in France and Greece are taking to the streets, school children are occupying schools, and barricades are being formed. Why aren't we doing this? I hope the commune creates a higher level of social awareness, and also acts as an organisation for action against the cuts and specifically those relevant to students. I encourage all students despite whether your in school, university or college to take action.

its not unusual for people of your age to act like this, but by the time you hit 30-40 your outlook will be completely different

You intend to set up a commune in a state school?
The whole purpose of a state school is to indoctrinate the young into the left/right paradigm. So long as long as everyone accepts that they belong to (are the property of) society, they will accept people controlling them for profit/social good (delete as appropriate) as purveyed by the social dominant class, which is a glass celling.
All in all you're just another brick in the wall.

Every anarchist I've ever met operates to some extent within existing social structures. There's no reason at all why you shouldn't start organising along these lines within an existing state institution. Who knows - maybe your activities will lead to a full-blown revolution in FCH. Unless the school has changed very much in recent years, it's well on the way to anarchy already.
Good luck!
