English Defence League attack in Leicester during rally on youtube

The English Defence League attacked a Muslim [Halal] fast food restaurant in Leicester. A window was smashed & the door was kicked in. Police arrived quickly & refused exit to customers. EDL members ran past outside during the chaos. Muslim Defence League protesters were given wrong directions by MDL leadership which left MDL members isolated and vulnerable to the EDL at the rally



The EDL again rioted and rampaged through yet another British town center. EDL members smashed windows and terrorised a community.

MDLmembers were left stranded, wondering alone in Leiecester and vulnerable to EDL having been given wrong directions to the rally by MDL leadership over facebook and MDL radio. MDL members criticised their leadership [removed] also known as Admin T / Bengal Tiger / Joe MDL and the Chechnyan Wolf / Admin F as they were told to meet at Spinney Park away from the main protest. They had been due to meet at a Leicester mosque but the Imam at the mosque asked them not to. The UAF met in another location in Leicester for a diversity celebration rally against the EDL.



The EDL are were filmed smashing a window and kicking in a door of a Halal take away food outlet.

EDL are saying MDL were in Big Johns. MDL gave wrong meet up point

Members of the English Defence League are saying that the MDL were in Big Johns. Some MDL were in the wrong places away from the demo having been given the wrong directions by the Muslim Defence League leaders [Chechnyan Wolf group.]

It's very important that people stick to proper meeting points for protests, that people organise properly and travel together. Things can go badly wrong if anyone gets stranded in small groups or end up alone.

For good reasons I'm not going to name names here but I'm deeply suspicious of the MDL. At least one of the "major" players behind the MDL has an agenda that has alot more to do with the failure of his main career path and a need for moral self-justification than it has to do with responding constructively to Islamophobia. That person has a long history of deeply irresponsible behaviour and frankly zero leadership skills - the kind of opportunist who is willing and able to start a fire when he thinks he can benefit from the publicity, but who has very poor political judgement and no experience of real political organisation, or in fact of leading anyone anywhere. Of course young Muslims are entitled to defend themselves but UAF's decision to get involved with certain MDL people is potentially disastrous. UAF have been warned about this person and have actively chosen to ignore those warnings.

Antisemitism

A worrying theme running through MDL is antisemitism and racism. One of the leaders of the MDL wrote deeply offensive comments about Hindus. He stated that "Hindus shag donkeys." Members of the other MDL : "MDL United We Stand Divided We Fall" have said that the same man has written offensive and disgusting comments about Jews.His behaviour is not so different to and no better than that of Islamophobes. Anti Jewish comments keep appearing from the MDL.
The leaders of MDL are using fake names. An anonymous leader is not good. They are using pseudonyms which means that they have something to hide in their agenda just like the EDL. I would be very worried about a group that seems to have dislike for grown up women and prefers to have a 14 year old girl as an admin rather than an adult woman.
If MDL members were attacked because of being in the wrong place in Leicester then the leadership and group should disband. They were in the original MDL group, left the MDL and formed another MDL. They used the same name which confuses matters then accused other MDL groups of being "fakes." The MDL leader accuses everyone of being fake yet he accused Mary Allen of the SWP an "EDL troll" because he has no political experience or acumen and doesn't know who's who or what's what. He has sent threats to other MDL members. Worse still he has used other groups and individuals who have build the MDL numbers and has then crapped all over these people. The MDL leaders need to stand down or disband altogether. They are not a credible group and certainly pose no credible opposition to the EDL.

MDL need to get organised and get to where the edl are, not where they might be.

You had a lot of support in town from white and black. The edl fear black involvement against them, and it was there. Not just somalian, plenty of other blacks were running the edl in some parts of town. But it needs numbers and it needs leaders.

I saw some good mdl lads in town, but numbers too limited. And some of you need to drop any of this jew shit, I've got some jewish blood and I hate the edl.

If you lot in the fields had come down it would have been a different story. But the edl won't come back here, you need to take it to them, maybe if they go Peterborough. This is now a street war, they need to be knocked down fast.

Sorry but.....The MDL are run by people every bit as racist as the EDL. At least one of the leaders hates Jews. Foisal Uddin hates Jews. The group does not like black people. We've all read the vile racism spouted by MDL infiltrator Keri Infidel Wish against Asians that was ignored by Foisal Udddin due to his personal relationship with her.
The person who led the MDL to the wrong meeting points in Leicester is the lad writing as Saladin Ayubi. [Saladin ayubi is based on a character in the film Kingdon of Heaven.] All group leaders are answerable to their members. In this case they are reluctant to even reveal who they are, just as the EDL have done [the EDL did actually meet their members unlike MDL ledership.] Wake up to the fact that the MDL are an extremist front whose agenda is far more racist and much creepier than the EDL. Too many of their members are against Jews and the leadership don't like white people that much and their secret hatred towards blacks is even worse.

mdl seriously need some good organisation in leicester. in other towns even when not organised they ran edl out or smashed them up like in birmingham.

i agree we need to situate at st georges next time - we cover everything on this side from st matrhews and highfields. then have groups all round. the mdl leadership or the imams asked not to take action - but its very sad that others had to take the heat protecting them while they stood around the mosque. next time mdl should leave the mosques and situate nearer town.

the edl fear black involvement. but only way we succeed is if everyone works together, although it should start with mdl getting there act together first, others will join in. imams are in hard position as they can't be seen to "incite violence". hence followers should not blindly listen when they say just defend the mosques, because doing that leaves other innocents exposed

peterborough will get good support from bengali community and black support.
