The Italian movement Popolo Viola London takes the streets of London again to demonstrate against the ant-democratic government of Mr. Silvio Berlusconi, that represents a threat not only for the Italian people but for every European citizen.
On October 2nd we are taking to the streets to make our voice heard.
The voice of the Italians who recognize the values enshrined in the Republican Constitution which are constantly violated by the actions of this Government.
The voice of the Italians who are disheartened by the process of moral, cultural and democratic degradation in which the country finds itself; degradation which has reached alarming proportions with the authoritarian control of recent governments.
On October 2nd we are taking to the streets to ask:
-to reform the electoral law to give back to the people the right to choose their representatives
-rules on conflict of interests to ensure pluralism of information-free and democratic elections
Let’s get back our right to political life, to a democratic vote, to freedom of press.
Let’s get ITALY back!We invite all citizens, associations, democratic forces and the press to attend and support this event.
