A quick review of some of the things happening as part of the days of action in the Netherlands to mark the banning of the noble act of squatting, which finally becomes law on october 1. But for sure the squatting won't stop.

So squatting gets banned on October 1 in the Netherlands. What this means in practice is an interesting question...

In any case, squatting will continue, as shown by the ongoing days of action.

A few reports:

The beautiful old Nederlands FotoMuseum has been squatted in Rotterdam. With the tongue in cheek name of 'the last dutch squat', it has been broken by a range of groups. Over the weekend there will be an exhibition about squatting with various contributions from an archive group.
