4TH NATIVE SPIRIT FESTIVAL
THE FILM FESTIVAL OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLES
LONDON, 12TH to 22ND OCTOBER 2010
We are pleased to announce the 4th Native Spirit Festival of Indigenous Peoples from 12th to 22nd October 2010 in London.
The 4th Native Spirit Festival is an annual season of films, talks and performances celebrating and exploring Indigenous cultures and the protection of their rights. This year the festival will be taking place at SOAS University and Amnesty International Human Rights Action Centre in London.
The indigenous vision of life is profoundly linked to Nature. For them, as it was once for all people on this planet, the natural world is considered sacred. Establishing bridges and finding parallels between indigenous cultures and modern societies is key to understanding ourselves and the world we wish for the future.
